Wireless Carplay Adapter

Turn the wired Apple CarPlay already built into your car into a fully wireless connection. This wireless CarPlay adapter plugs into your existing USB port, and from then on your iPhone connects to CarPlay on its own every time you start the car without the need for a cable.

It runs Android Auto wirelessly too, so it works whether you're on iPhone or Android.

How the wireless CarPlay adapter works

If your car already has CarPlay you might have to plug in to use it. This adapter sits in that USB port permanently and bridges your phone to the car over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. You pair once. After that, getting in and starting the car is the whole process: CarPlay or Android Auto loads automatically within a few seconds, maps and music ready to go.

Is your car compatible?

This is the one thing to check before you buy. A wireless adapter converts wired Apple CarPlay to wireless - it doesn't add CarPlay to a car that doesn't have it. So your car needs factory wired CarPlay (or an aftermarket head unit that supports it).

Checking this takes about 30 seconds: plug your iPhone into your car's USB port with a cable. If the CarPlay screen appears, you have wired CarPlay and this adapter will work. If nothing happens, your car doesn't have factory CarPlay and you'll want one of our plug-and-play CarPlay head unit kits instead, which add a full CarPlay screen to cars without it.

Set up in about a minute

Plug the adapter into your USB port with the supplied cable, pair your phone over Bluetooth once, and you're done. There's no app to install and nothing permanent - leave it plugged in and it just works from then on.

Pair more than one phone

The adapter remembers multiple phones and reconnects to whichever was used last when you start the car. Switching drivers is easy: change it in your phone's Bluetooth settings, or choose manual connection from the CarPlay screen.
